In this class you're invited to relax into a state of openness, ease, and clarity through supported yoga postures accessible to most, guided visualizations, and breathwork. Restorative Yoga is a therapeutic style of yoga that utilizes props to make it easier for your body to move into certain poses, and thus, surrender to the pose. Practicing poses using props provides a completely supportive environment for total relaxation. Typically, restorative poses are sustained for five to ten minutes or for as long as you are comfortable. All accompanied by the sometimes grounding, sometimes ethereal guitar soundscapes of Morgan Leininger.
This practice exists within the realm of the Dakini Mandala of Emotions, also referred to as the Elemental Mandala of Emotions. This particular class is accessible to all and offers a taste of the vast teachings of this elemental alchemy practice of Tantric origin. These practices work with our subtle body’s capacity to liberate obstructed emotions and release karmas. Tara is an authorized guide of these rare and precious practices through the Sri Vidya Forest Path lineage of her Guru, Uma-Parvathinath Saraswati. She teaches this adaptation of the traditional mandala practices with the express permission of Maa Parvathi.
