Lightly Guided Meditation

Sundays 8:00 - 8:30 am

Free and open to all. Please be on time so we can co-create the space together.  We will begin with a brief centering. The amount of guidance and instruction will depend on the energies of the group that day. Meditation will flow into Tara’s class at 8:30 am. No cost.


Sunday Morning Yoga

Sundays 8:30 - 9:45 am

A class that builds strength, stability, and resilience. While cultivating deep presence and awareness, we will begin with stillness and then move through gentle warm ups into a series of āsanas (postures) made accessible to those who are in the room. Class concludes with lightly guided deep relaxation, or meditation if you choose. It is helpful to be able to move up and down off the floor with some ease for this class. Cost: $10. Teacher: Tara.


This 75 minute class begins with a Yin practice, lasting approximately 30 minutes, which will target the soft tissues in the body. We begin with Yin as it is best done before the muscles have had a chance to warm-up from activity.  Following Yin, will be a much more active, Yang practice. It will include sun salutations, standing postures, a peak, and a cool-down.  We will close with a seated meditation and Savasana. Cost: $10. Teacher: KC.


This all-levels class opens with centering and flows into 30 - 40 minutes of yoga poses designed to support 20 - 30 minutes of guided meditation. No meditation experience required, just a longing to learn. Cost: $10. Teacher: Tara.


Foundational Yoga

Tuesdays 5 - 6 pm

This Foundational Yoga class is an all levels class designed to be easily accessed by newcomers and to help seasoned practitioners refine foundational asanas. The poses are taught in stages and repeated, guiding you into steady alignment. Props are used to assist and adjust to individual needs. Breath work will be incorporated into this class as a way to connect more deeply with the physical movement of the practice. The yogic principles will also be incorporated into this class, offering a way to understand the philosophical basis of the practice. Cost: $10. Teacher: Leah.


This hatha yoga class incorporates gentle movement with traditional yoga poses and breath work to encourage body strength and a sense of well-being. Cost: $10. Teacher: Susie.


Yoga and Meditation

Thursdays 9 - 10:15 am

This open studio is a time for people to come and connect with their own personal yoga practice. There is no teacher, just an open door. No cost.


Vinyasa

Thursdays 6 - 7 pm

Vinyasa is the practice of linking breath to movement.  In this class sequences are thoughtfully designed so that you move from one posture to the next, seamlessly, using the breath.  Each class begins with centering and a warm-up before moving  through a series of sequences that combine dynamic movement and static holds, giving students the opportunity to find appropriate alignment that is safe and comfortable for their body. Yin yoga is a slow moving practice. This class consists of a series of long held, passive floor poses that mainly work the lower part of the body - the hips, inner thighs, and lower spine. These areas are especially rich in connective tissues. The poses are held for up to five minutes, sometimes longer. Cost: $10. Teacher: KC.
