An Evening of Meditation and Deep Relaxation

Yoga nidra is a deeply restorative practice that offers windows into your inner wisdom. Translated as “yogic sleep” or “divine sleep,” this type of yoga focuses on the systematic relaxation of the body while the mind enters a state of deep, meditative awareness—like dreaming while fully awake. Yoga nidra has the potential to reduce stress, improve sleep, and help diminish symptoms of anxiety and depression. The yoga nidra practice will be bookended by brief meditation and time for journaling at the end. Bring a journal and an eye pillow if you have one.

Monday, March 18th, 6-7:15pm, pre-register $15 / per 1 class. Upcoming dates: April 15th, May 13th, June 17th. Partial and full scholarships available for people in the LGBTQ+ community and local food system workers.

Simple Ayurvedic 4-Week Spring Cleanse

This simple Ayurvedic spring cleanse is a month long introduction to Ayurvedic tools to reunite you with the natural world to experience vitality and increased overall wellness. Ayurveda is a Sanskrit word that means the science of life. It is commonly referred to as a sister science to yoga, but physical asana practice is actually just one tool in the Ayurvedic toolbelt. Ayurveda highlights a reunion with nature, including strong ties to the seasons, times of day, and stages of life. Using basic tri-doshic tools of Ayurveda, we’ll gently cleanse the body, mind, and spirit, exploring techniques that reduce ama (toxins) and increase ojas (the juice of life!) Each class will include pranayama (breath work), mudra (hand symbols) japa mantra (repeated mantra), asana(yoga) live sound bath, cleansing Ayurvedic meditation, and teachings on simple Ayurvedic tools to use in daily life for optimal health. Basic dietary suggestions will also be provided, along with some recipes.

Thursday evenings, April 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, from 5:30-8:30pm. $250 / 4 weeks. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please reach out to Liz at if you require a full or partial scholarship.
